Natural. S. Unit 2. Project

 Chose an ecosystem and do a presentation: the Atacama or Sahara desert;  The Great Barrier Reef, The Amazon Rainforest or the Serengeti National Park.

Your presentation must include:

  • Characteristics of the Ecosystem.
  • Location.
  • Climate
  • Flora
  • Fauna. Describe one of your favourite animals in your ecosystem.
  • Curious facts about your ecosystem. ( Animals in danger of extinction, animals adaptations to their ecosystem, etc)

Format: Poster or Digital Presentation.👈

Include pictures or videos on your presentation.

Think 💭about the structure of your presentation. 

 Prepare what you are going to say💬.

Due date: Monday 11th January 2021👈

Assessment: 70 %  Poster or Digital Presentation 30% Oral Presentation

Grasslands are large areas of grass found in places with very little rain.

According to the geographical location, there are:

Savannahs or Tropical Grasslands. In tropical areas.
Temperate grasslands. In cool climates, dry and windy.

In unit 2, we are learning about Ecosystems, the relationship between living things and their environment. 

In this post, you have pictures, definitions and a video to review and study the concepts that we have learnt in class.

Your homework for next Wednesday 9th; is to research one of the following ecosystems:

The Atacama Desert

The Great Barrier

The Amazon Rainforest

New York City or

The Serengeti National Park

Thenmake a list with the living and non-living things of your chosen ecosystem in your notebook. You can add a drawing or picture.
